By downloading or using LicenseLab you agree to these terms. If you downloaded LicenseLab from the App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies. If you downloaded it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.
What LicenseLab is
LicenseLab is an independent study aid for professional license exams. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology, PSI Services, or any government agency. Our questions are original practice material written from public content outlines and regulations. They are not actual exam questions, and using LicenseLab does not guarantee that you will pass any exam.
Educational information only
The content is for exam preparation. It is not legal, medical or professional advice. Rules can change; always check current regulations with the licensing board.
Subscriptions
- LicenseLab is free to download and includes a limited number of free questions. Full access requires a subscription (weekly, monthly or 3-month).
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription on iPhone in Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or on Android in Google Play → your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- New subscribers may get a free trial of 3 days. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and your Apple ID or Google Play account is charged. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.
Use of the app
Keep your device and store account secure. Don't misuse the app, copy its content for redistribution, or try to break its security.
Content ownership
The questions, explanations, translations and images in LicenseLab belong to LicenseLab and are licensed to you for personal study only.
Limitation of liability
LicenseLab is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including exam results, arising from use of the app.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continuing to use the app after changes means you accept them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
